Norwich has improved so much over the last decade or so. It's meant to be one of the top cities to visit in the country. I can see why as they have everything here you want when it comes to shopping; two malls and many many different shops. Saying that they also have plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs to cater for all tastes.
Norwich has a lovely cathedral in the centre of Norwich and an outstanding castle too. This is always very popular with my Grandchildren whenever we go into the city.
I have been to the castle a few times over the years with both my children and my grandchildren and it is so fascinating to go there.
Parking here can get really busy especially at weekends but they do offer a park and ride service into the city. There is also a good bus service run throughout the city along with a train station near enough to the centre of the city too.
Norwich also offers a good selection of evening entertainment to for various ages whether it's cinema, bowling, pubs, restaurant, or just a quiet drink, you will never be let down when you visit here.

I love this city it has everything I need for when I go shopping or wanting to take my girls out.
I have always travelled here by car but it is easily accessible by both train and bus. Both these stations are situated in the center of the city.
Norwich has two shopping malls both of which are walking distance between them. Surrounding both of these is the main shopping area of Norwich.
This also has plenty of variety of resturants such as indian, chinese, mexican, tradional english and american style ones.
There are also many cafes, bars, clubs and pubs all to suit different tastes again whether is somewhere quiet of lively then the choice is yours.
There is a castle in the city centre to which for a small price you can visit and learn alot of history about Norwich and what it was like.
This city also offers cinema, bowling alleys, skating rinks, ice skating, leisure complexs, and a few large supermarkets.
It's a lovely city to come to and I recommend you take a visit if you're ever in the area.

This is easily accessible by all methods of travel.
This city has two shopping malls, as well as a massive shopping area in the heart of the city. It also offers plenty of cafes, resturants for all tastes, bars and clubs aswell as many tourist activitis for all ages.
It has plenty of activities for all ages young and old including cinemas, bowling alleys, indoor play places.
Shops here are suitable for all level of budgets from the extremely high priced to those on a tight budget.
It can take a whole day to visit popular shopping areas and there are many connecting buses to help you get around if you don't have a car.
This can get an extremely busy area daytimes, especially weekends but it's always well worth the visit.
I love going here to shop or take my children out for the day, they also have many educational places to visit aswell if you feel like a change.
This also offers places to visit such as the Castle which holds a whole variety of knowledge about Norwich's local history.

"Welcome to Norwich a fine city" so says the sign as you enter via road. The sign post also points out that it's twinned with an unpronounceable place halfway across the world.

It's a small city, easily walkable to all central commercial shopping locations.

There are several cathedrals and even a scrubbed up castle to navigated via the horizon.

It's easily assessable by train, taking just under two hours on a direct train service from London Liverpool Street.

The Chapelfield shopping centre is a high light to a penny spending visit.

Famous for Mustard and Delia Smith, Alan Partridge and the Canaries.

Norwich is classed as a city and it is really posh and well known it can be a bit hard to get to if your not sure where it is or you dont have a car, But it is easy to get to by train it has a very large train station where you can book your tickets there or by phone., It is a large city and it has alot of students here studying at university. It has a large park which many people visit even you see some of the students here studying because it is piecefull and quiet. Also there are alot of shops here so you are spoilt for choice. It has a realy nice registory office where my older brother got married it was easy to find and the inside of it was really nice even outside was really nice,.
They have a square in the town where they have a market and you can find some really cheap items you can also find some unusual items on the market too but they only have the market on certain days.
Norwich is close to great yarmouth and also dereum and for me to get there it can take up to 5 hours which is a long jurney in a car but if your going by train you have to get on and off so that keeps you busy and it breaks the jurney down too.
I wouldnt really go to norwich for a holiday as there is not much to do there it is mostly for students i think that all you tend to see when you are there.
It has a few historic sights that you can see but not alot.

A great city which has everything you could wish for without being enormous. There are many universitys in the area including the University of East Anglia and the arts uni, so it is populated greatly with students. There is plenty to do, has cinema restaurants and many nightclubs, and there is great shops in the city centre. The people are friendly in norwich, that is one thing i especially noticed, and in the outskirts there are some great country pubs and friendly quiz nights, so whatever you are looking for, Norwich has the best of both, and with it being close to the sea, you will be able to visit often.

Norwich really is a nice town to visit, however actually getting there can be very stressful in deed!!!.
If you get on the norwch ring road you may never be seen again!!!
There are so many ways to get into norwich i dont think i ever go in the same way twice, and once you get into the town centre this is just as confusing.
There is quite a few car parks, but as peak times the ones in the shopping malls, the castle mall and chaplefields tend to fill up early the morning. If you dont get into one of the two main car parks it can end up being a bit of a walk to the shops.
As i only really ever visit norwich as a shopper i can only really comment on the retail side of things and not really the culture, altough there is a lot to do and see in norwich!!
There are three main shopping areas that i have visited in the actual town centre although there are industrial estates with big out of town shops like toys r us ect.
Chapelfielsd is the newest shopping mall in norwich and it is a pleasure to visit it, based on three floors with two of them dedicated to shops and the top floor is a food court with pizza hut, kfc, mcdonalds ect.
Its seems like most the shop shops have moved to chapelfields from the castle mall shopping centre but there is a whole host of other stores s well.
castle mall is the older shopping mall but most shops have left to go to the centre and it does now seem a littel empty.
The market area of norwich is areal treat with its market all being under cover and built on a slope so youll end up feeling slightly after exiting !!
Basically there is loads to do in norwich, historiacl things, retail therepy, plenty of places to eat and stay and abuzzing night life.
Definately worth a visit.

I love Norwich and cant really fault it other than having to agree with what other people have said its terrible to get to as the roads are so bad and always jammed solid. There is loads to do in Norwich for all ages and you can get completley lost in the culture side of things. depending on where you are coming from you and where abouts in norwich you are going to as it really is bigger than you think.there are night clubs and bars all over the place and they are all really quite good. norwich often holds quite alot of events and you will always see them being advertised.there is a super shopping centre where you can shop til you drop and loads of small alley ways which are must as you will find all sorts of boutiques and designer shops. its very scenic in parts of norwich and you can spend many a nice sunny day sat by the river having a picnis or just having a stroll around one of the many museams, churches or cathedrals. if you prefer to be in the quieter parts of norwich then head to the out skirst where you will see fields for miles on end and although im not 100% sure im sure they have some nature walks around too.norwich has universities and colleges jotted all around so the city is always buzzing with life and plenty of large companies so there are always plenty of little cafes and snack bars you can grab a bite to eat at or if going in the evening they have some lovley resurants with really good prices. the riverside complex is alway buzzing to just 5 minutes from the train station you can catch the latest films at the cinema or just have a meal and drinks with friends it really is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.
