Primrose Valley Haven Holiday Park just outside of Filey is a brillaint place.

It has a massive entertainment complex which has 2 different bars (an adults and a kiddies one) 2 seperate swimming pools, plenty of palces to eat including a restaurant (which is reasonably priced!) burger king and other places.

It has a little shop which isn't too expensive either, it has buses which go from the complex to Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. All a good day out (expect for Filey which you could probaby do in half a day)

The kids entertainment is brilliant.

You can either take your own caravan or have one of theres. We have stayed in the Standard one and also the Platinum (or prestige whichever is top one) the platinum one is amazing, it has DVD central heating, a fire and much more, it is like a home from home which we love. We go here every year and love it.

Filey is a lovely seaside place close to Scarborough and Bridlington, we used to holiday in a caravan park between Bridlington and filey and on a morning would go to the cliff top cafe. which does the most fantastic breakfast! It is a lovely quiet place.

Filey is a small seaside town off the north yorkshire coast it is next to scarbrough and briddlington but it is not as big as them it is a quiet town butit can really get busy in the summer season.
There are not many things you can do in filey apart from go on the beach or go around the town but there is filey brigg where you can go see all the rock pools.
There are a few shops in filey you have your main shops and stores like morrisons or co op but then you have your gift shops too.You can also buy all your filey rock.
Filey is close to most of the haven parks which are reigton sands and primrose vally also blue dolphin its close too all these and they are also a very short bus ride away and they are easy to find. All these haven parks bring life to filey and tourism too every summer you can expect filey to be more busy.
You do get alot of people wanting to move to filey because it is a quiet town and it is really nice.
The shops are cheap and the local people are friendly.
You will get many people fishing in filey on the beach it is popular for fishing and they also have fishing comptitions too

I visited filey in North yorkshire for a family holiday, we stayed in a Haven holdiay resort for a week and it was great, there was so much to do for all the family. the beach is massive and is nice and clean, there is scarbrogh which is well known as a sea side reort which is nly about 30 mins away from filey and there is a a sea life center, fun fair and loads of fun ideas for a day out. it was july when we went there so it was very busy with children being on their holidays but it was a lot of fun and my children loved it

i have realy enjoying some terrific holidays in Filey when I was a kid! as with me having 7 other brothers and sisters we couldnt go far for holidays due to money. The beach was fantastic, and if you stand at the top of the cliffs you can see for miles around, and we used to watch the surfers from the top of the cliffs. There was always something fun to do, and I remember all the coach trips we used to take to nearby places, like Whitby Bay, and ''''''''Heartbeat country'''''''' where we visited the place where ITV''''''''s Heartbeat is filmed. highly recommended for any mini breaks or just days out

Only a few months back a group of 4 of us came to filey for an afternoon, we spent the morning in Scarborough, and with Filey being so close we decided to come for the afternoon here. There was a lovely beach and a few good shops and icecream stands, but there didnt seem to be much else about. In total we spent about 2 hours there because we had a fish and chip lunch before setting back off home, my husband described it as a upperclass version on Scarborough, yet I found it to be too quiet and boring for my liking

Filey is lovely, there is plenty to do with the seaside and the parks close by, There is some lovely scenery and all the locals are very welcoming and happy to give direcctions ect. I loved going to filey as a child because although there is a beach it wasnt overpowering, there was a select amount of arcades but not too many, So there for you can relax on your day out without all the noise. The beach offers horse rides for the children aswell as a little gift shop, ice cream shop and a fish and chip shop. Filey seem to pride them selfs with piece and quiet so there for you enjoy your stay

If you are wanting a day out to the sea side but hate the dreaeded crowds and busyness then come here to Filey. Filey is not as big as other sea side resorts so it doesnt make it as busy but in my opinion its so much better. The beach is lovely and clean and its surrounded by great views of the cliffs. Filey has some amusement arcades but not as many as other places i have visited, i like this because its not all in your face. Italso has a few good gift shops and plenty of little cafes. We stay at nearby caravan park which is really clean and welll presented, it doesnt cost much and its so close to the beach. Really worth coming here, i highly recommend it.
