Scarborough is a lovely place for a seaside holiday. The town has plenty of shops and the sea front has plenty of places to eat, shops and arcades.

Donkey rides are brill for the kiddies too.

I absolutly think scarbrough is a brillent sea side town. It is situated off the north yorkshire coast. It is a very popular place and it is very easy to find. There are many thing to do in scarborough such as visit the sea life centre which is situated on the outskirts of scarbrough there is also kinderland and the cstle which is based on the cliff top you can see this from the beach.
Children love visiting scarbough as there is alot to do. There are many shops here and there is a main shopping centre which is in the centre of town. there are many gift shops where you can buy all your novilty items even suvineers. There is a main train station which is in the heart of scarbrough where you will find all of the buss stops too. If you follow the shops down the road it will lead you to the beach where you fing lots of amusements and fish and chip shops also gift shops there is also a fair on the peir which is easy to get to. There is also a horro house which is scary and a simulator ride. There is also little fun rides on the beach for all the children .
Scarbrough also had a good reputation for the night life it is wild and popular.
I have been to scarbrough a number of times while i have been on holiday at the blus dolphin haven park which is situated a couple of miles away from scarbrough.

Scarborough is my favourite seaside resort on the East coast., it has so much to do. The beach is a really clean sandy beach and is great when the tide is out. Great for building sandcastles and you can also go for donkey rides - children only! There are your usual seaside bargain shops here - bargain books, places to buy buckets and spades etc along with amusesments and loads of fish and chip shops/restaurants, which are really yummy. You can visit Scarbrough castle up on the hill. Peasholm park is great, where you can hire a rowing boat and row round the lake. Kinderland is across the road - an amusement park for younger children which is well worth a visit. At the top of the town is all your usual High Street shops and a modern shopping centre. The train station is located up here and there are regular trains to Hull and York. If you travel up to the car park at the top of the cliffs you can sometimes catch the Royal being filmed and you can also see the hotel which fell into the sea. Scarborough is well worth a visit.

I went to Scarborough on a Haven holiday with my children and was absolutely amazed at how much it had to offer. The kids never stopped the whole time we were there and there was definitely plenty to keep them busy. We drove into Whitby one day, as this was at the beginnning of season we found that some places were still getting ready to open and we could not fully enjoy the facilities. We went to a farm in Scarborough, being one of two families visiting we had the whole place to ourselves virtually. The farm was extremely large and had both an indoor and outdoor play area as can be seen from my picture. Our visit to Scarborough was amazing and we are going back again next year, hopefully more towards the summer months so we can fully enjoy the beach etc. I would recommend Scarborough to anyone with young children as there is plenty to entertain them and entertain yourselves. We did ot get to test the night life having children with us, but I got the impression from the way people spoke about it that this was amazing also.

I love scarborough, I have to admit I didnt go to scarborough as a child, and only went a year or 2 back with my husband and loved it and now we go every year. Its a seaside place, with gorgeous, beaches, and peirs, and the arcades, there ar so many arcades, I need a lotto win to go in those arcades as I always spend a fortune, playing the 2p machines and dancing games against each other, theres nice places to go to eat and it is lovely to just walk along the beach and things. Its lovely in summer to relax on the beach but is fab all year around!
