I have visited this town on a few occassions by train, i have to say its rather dull seems and very quiet not much seems to happen here. Although the shopping centre is particularly good everything is so close together which is fab. There are many well known shops including a woolworths, alongside a local sainsburys and other food stores. Kettering does offer a range of activities which may interest some including a local cinema, church, museums and theatres. If visiting Kettering why not go across to Wicksteed family theme park which offers a quite well known railway, playground, fairground and a newly open log flume in the lakeside attractions. There are many events that take place at Wicksteed park including car boots, family entertainment, fireworks displays, and christmas events.

Kettering is a ok town but can also be quite a miserable place, The town has a few good places like Kettering leisure village which has a kids play centre with soft play, swimming and also a quazer and wicksteeds Park which is a theme park but on a small scale, The evening partys at wicksteed are also rather good, There is some large super markets in Kettering , Sainsburys, Tesco and morrisons, The Hospital at Kettering isnt Very highly recommended But ive never had trouble with there care just other things, There are many resturants in Kettering from nando''s Chicken , to the raj on Rockingham road, There are many pubs and 2 night clubs the mian being rehab which is centred on Montagu street , Many Schools and also a all girls Secondary school.

Having lived in Kettering almost all of my life I have a good knowledge of it. The locals are often quite rude and unsightly and the town is polluted and strewn with litter. However, as a growing centre for business the shopping is good and the night-life is surprisingly diverse if you know where to go. The house-prices are not too high and some of the residential areas are quite nice for young families and elderly people. Overall, it had its bad points, but Kettering isn't all bad.
