I''ve been here to visit my friends many of times, beleive me it''s not the best place to go. Theres a few little shops called blyth town centre and they hold a market there on a weekends it fab you get some real good bargains, i love the pjyamas they sell there i got 5 pair for 10 really nice too. for aged 3year old.
There little town centre has a great indoor fish and chip cafe it looks pretty scummy but the food is really nice. Really cheap too they also serve batter which is amazing mmm, you dont get that from many places now!
Blyth also has there own little beach it''s quiet grubby, my friend walks her dog here, the water is dirty and has lots of cans and food wrappers in and there is always glass bottles on the sand. Not safe at all. Right along from th beach there is Blyth East Pier Head Lighthouse, not a very great place either, never many people goes to see it at all.
Blyth has a lot of terraced streets and they are not the nicest place to live, there is always lots of people hanging around them and causing a nuisence and trouble, my friend heres it all night long.
I think blyth has much more room for improvement and could be a nice little place if the town was modernised and the beach was cleaned up. I personally would not visit here agin by choice.
