Abingdon is a nice place to visit it is on the river thames so you have lovely views of the river there is also some nice buildings to look at. they have recently built some new homes too and i believe they are going to expand the town centre. unfortuatly some of the town was flooded in the july floods and many people where out oif there homes for a long time but unfortunatly being close to the river unless better measures are put in place this might continue to happen. other than that it is delightfull place to visit

Abingdon is a very beautiful Oxford Market town. On the banks of the Thames it benefits from plenty of green scenery and some really lovely historic buildings. Not the best place to visit if you are interested in lots of entertainment as it is a quiet village, however it is a great place to stop in when taking a tour of Oxfordshire to get a true feel for the county. Very friendly people in the town and there are also a few really good places to eat.

This is a pretty town and there are some perfect relaxing spots to sit by the river, and the house prices are pretty low seeing as there are some really nice homes around here. The locals know each others business a bit too much perhaps, probably because it seems to me that there is literally nothing there other than houses, but only having passed through I could be wrong about that. A car is a must, a good place for a family house or a retired couple.

Abingdon is a fairly pretty oxfordshire town. It''s on the river thames which means you can always go for a picnic or something there but other than that I wouldn''t actually say there was that much to do. There was a cinema apparently ages ago but that got shut down. It''s a market town so it has a pretty nice centre to it. Maybe go for a row there or something.
