A typical Oxfordshire village, Bicester is beautiful village just outside of Oxford itself. Very picturesque and quiet, it is home to a number of people of diverse age ranges looking to escape from the rat race.
Bicester also accommdates many superstores and just outside the main village is a shopping centre called Bicester Village. It is an open air shopping centre and very good fun to go around. Take the family, there is a shop for everyone; however, go on a nice day otherwise there is no escape from the rain.
Bicester is just one of many quaint Oxfordshire villages but is so beautiful, you will just have to go back.

It''s pretty alright here, few things to do, close enough to oxford, all in all not very offensive. It is surrounded by some nice countryside if you look around. There are some quite quaint pubs to visit. Probably the main thing about it is its shopping village. This is pretty good for getting some bargains, there is something horribly british about the whole thing but if you put that aside the prices are pretty good. can get very busy so get ready for some shoving at the weekends. I generally wouldn''t go out of my way to go to biscester unless it was for the shopping village.

Bicester is a nice little town not too far away from the town of Buckingham. It is ideal for just relaxing and having a quiet time. There aren't any bars or clubs, but there are a few nice little pubs to have a few drinks. There is a little shopping district, Bicester Village, this has a few nice designer shops and cafes. It is a very nice town to visit.
I visited here with a group of friends for a relaxing weeek away and that's exactly what we got - from designer store shopping to quite tea rooms and country pubs. Bicester had a historic, quaint feel with lots of things to occupy time - but if you're looking for a hectic, wild time, don't go! It boasts a quiet park and lovely gardens to sit and enjoy the time pass. The real advantage of rural Bicester is the positive way in which it amalgamates both rural country life with the urban modernities of designer outlet shopping. A beautiful church in the centre sits opposite one of the best pubs- The Swan.
