This is quite rural and picteuresque and extroadinarilly quiet. There are lots of lovely houses and theres definitely a sense of community but without as much of that town gossip that you''d expect to come with it. A nice safe place to bring young kids up, but not exactly exciting for teenagers. There are some good pubs though, if a bit dingy, and as far as I could see its not that great a place for shopping either, but has the essentials. The people are really friendly.

Thame isn''t the nicest place on earth but it''s alright. It''s pretty much an average oxfordshire town, a few shops - some of which chain, some nice quaint things to look at, a nice town hall and some pubs. Pubbing in thame isn''t too bad but I would basically advise you to head further afield to oxford to save yourself a potentially unexciting night. Thame is pretty easy to get to off the motorway, not sure why that helps but there you go. Some nice countryside surrounding. Fairly expensive like the rest of oxfordshire.
