Idylic market town that lies at the south eastern end of the Brecon Beacons national park. The town centre is really lovely with many mini-boutique style shops and even a mini department store. There also some great places to eat or just sit and have a coffee. The town is busy all year round, not just with tourists but also locals which is always a great reflection on a town. The town also has some good sports faciities with tennis, cricket and rugby clubs which are locally renowned for there skill and sportsmanship. Access to the town is very easy with the A40 running through the town centre and this makes it a very easy to visit, allthough parking is very limited. Crickhowell lise on the River Usk which is recognised as one of the best places in Britain to go river fishing. Crickhowell is definitely worth a visit!
