Ludlow is a historical market town that hasn''t been spoilt by the changes in time it is located in the wonderful county of shropshire .Ludlow holds antique markets which draw people from miles around. There is also a market 4 days of the week selling just about everything !!!
Ludlow castle is in my opinion one of the best castles in the area the building of it began in the 10th century , it is also used for festivals during the year .
The parish church of St Laurence is said to be one of the largest in the uk ( how true that is i dont know but it is very beautiful with the arcitechture and the wonderful stained glass windows .
For accomadation why not stay in the beautiful Feathers hotel .This is a stunning black and white building . There are plenty of other accomadtaion in the area from self catering to the lap of luxury .
Ludlow also has some great bars and restuarants the Charlton arms rests on the bank of the River teme and the views are wonderful.
You can also nip down to the Ludlow race course which is said to be one of the friendliest in the uk !!!!
The people of Ludlow like most of the people in Shropshire are wonderful and very friendly .
Near ludlow you have cardingmill valley , Church Stretton and shrewsbury .
