Tamworth is located off the M42 and really is a nice place to visit, It has lots to offer including various shopping centres such as Ventura retail park and other attractions such as Tamworth Castle. I feel Tamworth appeals to everyone and anyone of all ages as you will find there is always something to do and see, the people seem friendly and its just different to anywhere I have visited before

We have freinds who live in Tamworth sdo come up here quite a bit. It is located in Staffordshire not far from Birmingham and is relatively easy to get to by car. They also have a train station so you can also get here by train. It seems a very nice area to live in, there are some very nice housing areas and our freinds have no complaint! Tamworth is very well known for the Snowdome. The Snowdome is a huge indoor snow centre where you can do skiing, sledging, tobogganing and snowboarding. A great place to go to learn these activities before a holiday! Tamworth is also very close to Drayton Manor theme Park & Zoo which is also a great family day out. Tamworth boasts a reasonable shopping centre with a large retail park on its outskirts with the usual M&S, next, mothercare, TK Maxx etc. It also has its share of historic sites with a lovely Castle and Moat house. Overall a good place to go as you can always find something suitable to do.

Tamworth is an ever growing town in Staffordshire (Midlands) approximately 15 miles north-east of Birmingham. It is most famous for its historic Castle and Moat House. It is also well known for the Snowdome - an indoor activity centre that features real snow for skiing, snow boarding, and tobogganing. This was the first real snow indoor ski slope in Europe. It also used to be home to the famous Reliant Robin car manufacturer! Shopping is very good here. It has the usual town centre with the Ankerside Shopping Precinct and the more out of town Ventura retail park. This features a currently expanding M&S. Next, huge Asda, Next, Mothercare, Toys R Us, Matalan, TK Maxx and many more. There are plenty of car parking spaces but it does get very busy at the weekends. Tamworth also has a multiscreen cinema and ten pin bowling. There are lots of cafes and restaurants. It''s also not too far from Drayton Manor Park and Zoo. There is a railway station that is just a short walk from the town centre. I like to visit Tamworth to take advantage of the Ventura Park. It''s well worth a visit if you have never been before.
