Carluke is situated between Lanark and Wishaw, it has resently undergone a redevelopment of the town centre but as a whole it is quite disappointing as there isnt that many shops and you will normally need to go to either lanark or wishaw if you want anything other than basic household items. Supermarket wise it contains two, a good size aldi and a small somerfields both do not offer a great selection of products but good for basic items. Carluke seems to have tonnes of cafe's and takeaways, some which are good some which are rubbish. If you are in Carluke really recommend a visit to monsoons which is an indian resturant and take away and by far the best I have tasted in the local area. Carluke is somewhere which isnt really worth visiting but has some good redeeming qualities.
