Ipswich is in the county of Suffolk and is the countys city. It is home to Ipswich town football club, The town is now known for the prositute murders in 2006 which Steve Wright was convicted for. The town''s traffic network is in a pretty horrible state and the drivers do not care and simply cannot drive. The town centre is usually very busy with the usual high street shops and a couple of shopping centres, most shops are empty in these centres. The houses in the town are pretty dismal and not to very good standards. There are a few great night clubs (Liquid/Fire & Ice) but other then that, nothing special. The people of Ipswich are also pretty rude and arrogant. Ipswich has a huge Tesco and a huge ASDA. The town gets very busy on football days. Ipswich is close to Felixstowe. Ipswich is''nt very nice place to either live, work or have a night out and should be avoided if possible. The police in Ipswich are nasty and as much use as a chocolate teapot. The only good things about Ipswich are the Toys r Us and the swimming pool. The pubs in Ipswich are pretty good but the Inkerman should be avoided, I''d recommend the Cock & Pye and the Rep.

Ipswich is a great shopping and football town. It''s a big place offering plenty of jobs to locals. Transport links are hugh with trains and buses. Park is all around the town and also offers park and ride which a lot of people seem to use today. They have plenty of supermarkets and also loads of little fruit and veg shops. You can easily spend a whole day shopping in Ipswich and i have to say it;s one of my fav places to do this.
The nightlife is great in Ipswich that offer so much for all different kinds of tastes so you will never feel left out. They also offer loads more to do from eating to bowling for the cinema and the thearta

My dad has an Ipswich Town FC Season ticket, so I have visited quite a few times and it seems like a really nice place with a friendly, laid back atmosphere.
Although not as big as Norwich, it still boasts an array of shops and out of town retail parks. It still has two shopping centres, Tower Ramparts and the Buttermarket, plus a whole host of shops in between. Everything is quite close together, which is great if you dont fancy a long walk, despite it being called the ''golden mile''!. A short distance from the city centre is the waterfront, where you can find some quite nice restaurants. It has a couple of theatres in the centre and it also has a great underground carkpark near the New Woolsey theatre, which my little boy loves! He also really enjoyed the Speedway at the Foxhall stadium which takes place on Thursday nights, and has a really good atmosphere. If your brave you can even go on a ghost tour round the city centre!
If your looking for more ''every day'' activitoes, it also has ''Crown Pools'', a really nice swimming complex, and a cinema.
