We stayed in Lowestoft on holiday and we had a lovely time. It is a typical seaside town with some amusements and arcades. My children's favorite thing were the dancing fountains that they could run through, trying to avoid getting wet - great fun!! What we found a pleasent surprise were the shops, for the size of the area there are a lot of good shops.
The beaches looked lovely, sandy and gently sloping, sadly we didn't have the weather to try these out!! We were there when there was a carnival on which was great, real family friendly atmosphere with some fantastic floats. There was also a visiting fair there at the time. We saw an air show advertised which looked fab. Near by there are some good vistor attractions including PLeasure Wood Hills theme park
There were plenty of places to eat and to stay from B and B's to holiday camps.

Lowestoft is one of the larger of the towns in Suffolk, though stil definitely a quintisential seaside town!

There are a whole host of places to visit, making it very family orientated and friendly and f you are looking for a holiday in Lowestoft there are plenty of places to stay with a variety of accomodation such Bed &Breakfast places, hotels, self catering cottages and holiday parks.

There are many activity centres such asThe Adventure Island Park Play, In addition to art galleries and museums.And at the end of a fun backed, busy day there is a range of pubs and restaurants suitable for all of the family.

Lowestoft has all you need for a great holiday and also makes a great base for exploring the lovely area around it

lowestoft is a nice seaside town with nice beaches and lovely countyside which ever you prefure, their is pleasurewoodhills theme park which is a great day out for familys and thrill seekers also in the town their are plenty of shops for shopoholics and plenty of classy pubs and clubs also some lovely restaurants and your fast foods such as macdonalds. the surrounding villages are also as lovely and full of wildlife and you even have a pets corner and a wildlife park which is also ideaql for family days out

Lowestoft is yet another of Suffolks beautiful, well looked after and busy little seaside towns. With hundreds of places to visit, and accomodation ranging from B&B''s, hotels and holiday parks, there is always somewhere to stay and always something to see and do.
Whatever your holiday interests, Lowestoft has something for you. With activities ranging from The Adventure Island Park Play, to learning how to scuba dive and Lowestofts gaming centre, there is always enough to keep the whiole family busy.

Visit the many art museums and galleries, and check out the heritage of Lowestoft with the Carlton Marshes plus many others to choose from.
There many, many restaurants, caffs, pubs, wine bars and clubs wether you want a meal during the day, or after some sosphisticated nightlife, or even to go all out and really het your hair down.
There are 2 or 3 theme parks close by, and catch a coach trip to nearby locations if you fancy a day elsewhere. There are 2 big shopping centres if you fancy some retail therapy!
Lowestoft has many sporting activities, mainly fishing, but there is a range of sports so if thats your cup of tea, be sure to check it out.
