Camberley is one of the larger towns in northern Surrey. I also think it is a very nice town. I will set out the reaosns below.

Like so many other towns in the area, it is largely settled by people who work in London. Camberley has a good rail link and it is possible to be in London in about forty minutes. Camberley is also close to the M3 motorway, so it is possible to drive to London in about the same time. Guildford and Reading are larger towns nearby.

Camberley is a nice place to live, with many wealthy families and professionals in the area. Recently there have been quite a few developments of housing aimed at wealthy young professionals. The town also enjoys so beautiful family homes, with relatively large plots of land.

A major feature of this town is the shopping area known as The Meadows. This area features a Tesco superstore, and a Marks & Spencer superstore. There is plenty of space to park here, but it is perhaps harder to access by train. There are buses that serve this area.

Close to The Meadows is the main shopping centre, located on the other side of the road called the A30. This shopping centre features an indoor shopping mall, and some outdoor shops. There are also restuarants and some higher end pubs.

The town has recently had a new development, which has brought flats and a cinema to the area. I think that this will draw more people here.

camberley is a town in surrey but also right of the border line of hampshire and berkshire. quite a large sized town, a a nice shopping town too!
i used to come to camberley quite a lot because it was the closed place to me with the nearest primark - but now there has been a huge one open in basingstoke i havent visited camberley since but would definatly go again in the future.
you can find most of the shops you''''d want in this town, but i think alot are quite small branches although there is a good sized shopping cenre called the mall as well as the shops outside this on the main street where mcdonalds is! just on the outskirts of camberley is the meadows - the huge tescos and marks and spensers and also a diy store and up the road the other way is a huge sainsburys.
there are also lots of car garages and petrol stations and a large multi car park next to the mall. not sure about the night life here but alot of people i speak to always seem to be coming on a night out here and there seems to be a few pubs on the highstreet.

Some places just have a nice little feel to them. Camberley is one of them. I used to venture in when I didn''t want the hustle and traffic of Reading and Bracknell. Because it borders on Hampshire and Berkshire, it wouldn''t suprise me if a lot more people felt the same. I''m not aware of how good the coach and train services are to the area but driving there wasn''t ever a problem for me. There are times when traffic builds up but the place isn''t that big so you never have to wait long. I''ve always found parking pretty quickly there.

I''ve always appreciated the housing there too. Some places have loads and loads of houses that are the same. Camberley is not like this.

There is a good mix of pubs and bars. They have pubs and larger trendy bars but I tend to enjoy the middle range bars there. Some of them have had really good drinks night specials. The music can be really good at these as well. I recommend you hop around and find a good fit for you.

If you travel to and from London often, you could do a lot worse than Camberley.

Camberely is home to a huge Marks and Spencers located at The Meadows There is also a huge Tescos next door. When you go into the heart of Camberley you will see there a many shops including Boots, Primark, Next, topshop, Early learning centre, New Look, Clarks and Clinton Cards. There is a theatre, football club , Hocky club and lots of parking. The town lies between Hampshire and Berkshire and is around 30 miles form Central London. There is a number of schools in the area including the largest which is Collingwood. There is also Kings college and Tomlinscote sixth form college. I once got a bit of a scare when I heard air raid siren, but later found out it was a siren test for the local mental hospital!. They have begun to pedestrianise Park Street to prepare for a bowling ally, cinema and health club as well as new shops and cafes.

I have been to Camberley a few times and it is a nice town in the home county of Surrey, just 31 km southwest of central London. It is between both the M3 and the M4 motorways which gives it a great location for anyone considering living there. The town also borders both Hampshire and Berkshire. There are a number of good schools in Camberley including Collingwood College which is famous for being the largest school in Surrey with 2000 pupils. The nearest universities are Royal Holloway, University of London, University of Surrey and the University of Reading which are all fantastic Universities. Not that many shops and things to do compared to some other towns in Surrey but still a nice place to live.
