Epsom is a very big place, generally everyone all spend their time mostly at the highstreet.

There is the Epsom racecourse (if you like that kind of stuff) not so close to the high street itself but it's in that region.

There are plenty of restaurants down the high street and it's a pretty decent place for shopping.

As for entertainment i'm not too sure as i have not been around there that many times BUT it's a good place to go to if you want to go out shopping with your girlfriend/ friends and also a choice if places to eat too.

Epsom is a large town in Surrey. It is quite a nice place with good transport links to London and Guildford. It is well positioned for Heathrow and Gatwick, and generally most places in the South as it is so close to the M25. Epsom has a decent shopping centre, The Ashley Centre, with all the usual high street stores like Warehouse, WH Smiths, Marks and Spencers and so on. Epsom is next to the village of Epsom Downs, which is of course host to the worlds best horse race, The Derby. The Downs also make for a lovely day out when no racing is on due to the greenery which would appeal to walkers. It also has plenty of decent pubs, most of which serve traditional pub food, which always goes down well. In Epsom itself there are plenty of places to go and enjoy a night out such as The Slug and Lettuce and Nandos. There is a large gym in Epsom and it is quite a popular place with younger families.

Epsom is one town in Surrey that I have never really warmed to for some reason. Perhaps it is because I never liked playing Epsom College at sport but for some reason the town never really seemed to have a community and everything seemed a bit disjointed even though it does have a number of great attractions for every age.

Firstly it is important to mention its positioning which is fantastic in Surrey, a home county in easy distance from both Gatwick and Heathrow airport and just a short train ride away from central London for all of the commuters.

The main reason many are drawn towards this Surrey town is because of the Epsom racecourse, one of the most famous and prestigious in the country. It is home of both the Vodafone and Oaks derby.

Shopping is surprisingly good there and I have often been there for a look at what the shops have to offer. They have all the usual shops that you would expect including Warehouse, Oasis, New look etc.

The Epsom Playhouse is an award winning theatre hosting proffesional and community productions. It is a great arena.

Epsom College is one of the leading mixed independent schools in the country and this is also situated in this town.
