One of my friends lives in Reigate and for some reason I always think of it as a bit far out but it is a lovely, historic market town in Surrey, England at the foot of the North Downs and in London Commuter Belt even though it does take a good 40 minutes to get into Waterloo. It's closest big town is probably Guildford and it is also quite near to Brighton.
It mainly contains unique boutiques rather than big department stores which is quite nice and suits the place. Lots of quaint coffee shops to chill in all add character to Reigate. There is a really lovely market at the weekends. Loads of schools to choose from including Reigate Grammer School, Reigate College and Dunottar.
Overall it is a really nice town and a lovely place to live.
