You will never fail to find something to do in Birmingham. It is home to a vast amount of pubs, clubs and bars and has an exquisite choice for dining whether youuâ€re just after a quick bite or are looking for a 3 course extravagant meal. A lot of visitors come to Birmingham for the shopping experience and they do not leave disappointed with the bullring offering shoppers everything they could possibly want and need and the Mail box offering designer labels, the city of Birmingham is a shopping heaven for shopaholics. There is plenty of recreational activities in Birmingham such as bowling alleys and large cinemas. Birmingham also offers a wide range of culture with a vast amount of museums and galleries to spend an afternoon in. There is also a large Central Library when you need to get your head in a book! Birmingham is worth a visit!

I love birmingham. as a city it's got everything a modern girl could need, with funky buildings and amazing architecture (the mailbox and the bullring spring immeadiately to mind). it has a rather large central train station and excellent bus and coach links in and out of the city.

there is a wide, wide range of new shops and services in birmingham, and everything has that sparkly feeling of just being built. the people are friendly and the night life is great. brilliant if you end up going to uni here as there is always something to do.

Th e last time I came here was to the NEC, they always have differnet shows on like the motor show, I went to the baby show. The Hippodrome theatre is amazing, it''s big, modern and spacious with great performances. There are a few other theatres too. The Bullring shopping mall is a great place to come if you want to spend the day shopping, it''s huge and has loads of shops from Mamas and Papas to Debenhams and Selfridges. There''s quite a few shopping centres here, the Mailbox, Pallasades, Pavillion Central, the Great Western Arcade, Martineau Place, City Plaza as well as lots of markets and stalls! Birmingham is great for business and students, Birmingham has two universities. I have also been out in Birmingham for a hen party, it was amazing. There was loads of places to go, everywhere is very clean and modern, the bars are really stylish, and the clubs are just amazing.

We went to visit some friends that were attending the university in Birmingham and I have to say it has its good points and bad points. Good points being shopping, I loved the bull ring, it was convenient and had the right stores in just what you need. There wasnnt too many it was just right to get around in a few hours. A bad point I have to say is the whole place is just like one giant maze! We would of never of found anything if we didnnt have our own little guiders. I would also advise if going to the shopping centre that you are better off parking in the nearby car park as appose to the actual centre car park as it is a lot cheaper.

Birmingham the 2nd largest city in England is a great place to live. The newly built Bullring is great for Birmingham it attract a lot of attention as it can be seen from far. New Street and Broad Street in the town center are very famous streets. Birmingham has a lot to offer there is the cultural Symphony Hall and range of theatres including the Alexandra Theater. Birmingham is also famous for its night life which is better than many of the cities around the UK. Birmingham international airport hosts a large number of flights to wide places around the world.

I know a lot of people dislike Birmingham Town Centre, but i think it suits different people in differents way. My favourite part is the famouse Rag Market. Its open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Its good for all your materials, cottons, elastics if your a dress maker your in material heaven. Also a great stall out side selling beans for bean bags and wodding for your quilts and other hand made projects you have on the go.
Its surrounding Markets are thriving with fresh fruit and veg, from all countrys so nice to get adventurous with your cooking. They have a wide variety of meats and fish, so may stalls to which is great for a bargin... dont forget to haggle as they compete against each other all the time :D.
The Bullring is another great attraction to Birmingham it has lots of high streeet shops all under one roof, great for a rainy day. Esspecially the link bridge that links the Bull ring to the Pallasades another large shopping mall. Not forgetting the Pavillions again another Mall with lots of high street shops Under one roof.
Birmingham also has one of the largest train stations (New Street station) which links your trains all over the country.
Since Birmingham has had its big make over a few years ago its a much pretter place,
Not forgetting our museums, sealife centres, central libaray, symphany hall and theatres, NIA and NEC, And the night life of Broad Street, I really would recommend a visit here any time.....

Birmingham is the heart of the Midlands. If you arrive by train you wont be impressed, but on the plus side you will be a five minute walk from the Bull Ring shopping centre and also has a small shopping centre above the train station. The shopping in Birmingham in my opinion is second to none. I like London a lot but it is so spread out where as Birmingham is all in the same area and has all the same shops as London including Designer and high street stores. The Bull Ring is still relatively new but is a lovely shopping centre, it is well designed and still as new as it was wheantn it first opened. The Selfridges is Huge and really well set up. It has somelovely places to eat especially the Newt and Cucumber.
The nighlife is fantastic and plenty of good hotels to stay in if your not from the area. Broad street is definatley the place to be.
It has lots of things to do if you are in to more tourist then shopping, Plenty of Museums, art galleries, the sealife centre, Cadburys world,Parks. The Nia and Nec are close by too and there is always something of interest going on there. There is the vast canals to walk along or take a trip on and the locks are worth a look.
If your coming to Birmingham for the first time you wont be dissapointed.

Birmingham is a great city for shopping. Renound for its jewellery quarter, many come from far and wide to the city to experience the country''s biggest jewellery selection in one area. All the jewellery is of high quality and ranges from classical to unique designs. The jewellers are highly skilled and able to adjust any piece you pick to fit your size and you can even pick a certain stone or gem and the metal you want and design a piece of jewellery yourself. Birmingham is also known for its Bull Ring shopping centre which is a huge indoor shopping area in the centre of Birmingham that houses all the high street stores under one roof. The shops are always full of the latest fashions and with so many different shops, the variety of products is enough to keep you amused for hours. Birmingham also has the Birmingham city university and Aston university which are both located in great areas of the city and means that the night life for the city has a great atmosphere, full of lively fun students.
