I love Dudley, i actually spent so much time in Dudley i now live there! There is so much to do, cinemas, zoo's, great shops, restaurants good for families/friends or that romantic meal and the same goes for the pubs too! There are also a wide range of lovely hotels a couple of which do ghost hunts and such which are brilliant! We even have clubs and casino's. My partner and I spend alot of time out and about in dudley becauase everything is so accessable and you always get brilliant service as everyone is just so friendly and willing to help. Dudley also hosts alot of weddings, two of which i attended at the Village Hotel which was just fantastic from the moment you walk into your reception drinks to the time you either get into your taxi which staff are more than happy to arrange for you or when you hand in you room key after a fantasic breakfast, its also beautifully arrange to give you fantastic photos of the day, another great photo location is a place called The Priory which host a great grassed area with old building ruins. It just makes the hole day. All in all if your looking to visit dudley i would deffernatly recommeend it 100%.

I personally haven''t spent too long in Dudley I''ve been to the attractions that it posses i found the town centre pretty basic only really good for locals in my opinion it does have the churchill indoor shopping centre which i feel is dated it does have main stream shops that you expect,
When i think of Dudley i think Black country the zoo and the black country museum, the zoo is small and adequate it''s good for an afternoon out but wouldn''t fill a day yet the black country museum is brilliant they have re created a Victorian village and the staff dress up in Victorian clothes and show you how they would have lived back then it also has a working mill, they do glass blowing and have barge there''s loads to do there it''s very educational and i know any child coming away from there has learnt something, visiting these two attractions is really been the only reason why i have visited Dudley

I have been to dudley in the past on school trips. We visited Duley Zoo, i use to love it. The admission prices from what i remember werent too bad and there were many animals to see. There were also picnic areas within the grounds, which use to make the trip more enjoyable. As well as a wonderful zoo, there are many musuems, attractions and art galleries. The dudley musuem is a fun day out as well as an educational one. You often see school classes popping in and out of the exhibitions. I particular liked looking at the collections of fossils, the experts on hand informed us about the many historical facts relating to the collections of fossils. There are a few pubs and bars in the town centre, and a handful of restaurents if you are planning to grab a bite to eat. There are a selection of highstreet shops too, although there not the best. Nevertheless Dudley is great for entertaining purposes for people of all ages.

Dudley is in the West Midlands county but is probably better know as part of the Black Country.
I think its main attraction is the Zoo and castle. I have been there on many occasions as a child and also with my own children. The castle is set in the middle of the zoo. The only down side to the zoo and castle is that its all on a hill so alot of uphill walking is involved.
Another attraction in Dudley is the Black Country Living Museum. This is a lovely place to visit and you are able to experience what it was like living back in the early 1900s. Kids love it here as they can get involved by taking a lesson in an old fashion classroom.
Dudley also has a Museum and Art Gallery. It boosts a great fossil and crystal collections and also has an excellent life size Mammoth statue.
The shopping centre in the main town isn''t very large but Dudley is home to the Merry HIll Centre. Here you will find just about every shop you would need all under one roof.
There are a good range of resturants and hotel in and around Dudley all reasonable priced.
I have always found Dudley to be clean and well maintained unlike some areas I''ve been too.
Somewhere I would defaintly go to again.

Dudley is located in the west midlands. It is also said to be part of the black country. Attractions in dudley include the black country museam which is a great day out if you are into things like this. Dudley also have dudley zoo which is a nice little zoo and reasonably priced to get in. Apart from this there isnt much else to do in dudley. Dudley town centre has a few shops just for local shoppin but not alot of shops if you was looking for a shopping trip out. If you travel town the road a little bit though you will come to merry hill shopping centre which is a big shopping cente all under one roof. Dudley boasts a large odeon cinema and a bowling alley which i a good bonus. This has oly recently been built over the last 5-10 years though. Not a great place to visit but it is nice and clean and tidy.
