Walsall is a very nice clean tidy place, I visit the areas often to visit my brother in law with wife and kids, they plenty of places to stay, plenty of pubs and bars. With a very good selection of quality restaurants.

Walsall has recently been done up and has very good public transport facilities last time we visited we used the train and went to Birmingham, the trains all ran on time and was very clean

So overall I would recommend this town as is a very friendly place and is very clean

If you fancy a day out shopping and a bit of tourism Then we would recommend a trip out to Walsall. Walsall is a much bigger town than what people think. You could almost mistake it for a city. Plenty of parking facilities and lots of bus routes to and from other west midlands areas, as there is a huge bus station.
The shopping centre it self is fairly large with three different shopping centres with all your high street stores, with the saddlers centre being the biggest.
There is also an out door market if you like a bargin. There are plenty of bars and resturants if you fancy lunch while you out and about. Or even a quick bite of a fast food like Macdonalds, KFC, or Burger king.
On the tourism side there is Walsalls Famous Arboretum where between end of October and begining of December the Famous Walsalls light are on show..... A must for all children to see.....
The Arboretum is also nice during the summer as there are loads of ducks and geese to feed, we often take our children there on a nice day for a picnic as its such a pretty place.
On the other side of Walsall by the M6 motorway is a business park with more large stores such as Toymaster and Mothercare situated next to Walsall FCs Bescot stadium.

I love walsall, i was always brought up in walsall and havent found a nice little town since with meets my requirments. It has a nice number of shops, bars and restaurants for your liking. It has recently been done up over the past few years and it now has a nice art gallery if you are into that sort of thing. As well as the main town as walsall you have the crown wharf reatil park which is also fairly new. It has a large car park and is walking distance to the town centre. It boasts a nice amount of shops. The town centre itself has quite a few shops as well and most of the shops are nice large and airy. Some bits of the town are a little run town like inside some of the centres which hold a few shops but its still a nicelittle town and i like it alot. Cant comment on the bars too much as i have yet to enjoy a night out in walsall but i have been told by many people its a nice place for a night out.

Not keen on Walsall. Respectable areas are few and far between, especially around the centre. Shopping centre is below average in my opinion and doesn''t have a particularly huge range of shops. Always busy and popular with the older generation. However it does have decent transport links to surrounding areas.
