This is a smal quaint town situated between willnehall and wolverhampten.
The Church of St Thomas dominated the town centre, being originally built in 1760, but was almost completely destroyed by fire on 18th January 1902. My aunty got married here where i was her bridemaid and its a day i will never forget the church is huge.
This little town has many shops, Boots, Somerfield, Greggs, There are plently of parking spaces right behind the supermarket.
Just off the high street is Wednesfield Park, this is a very large with fantastic walks, it well kept and clean.
They have made it a no car zome just recently, so only buses are allowed through the town now.
Recently a new ''Waterworld'' Leisure Centre has been built close to Bentley Bridge. The centre features a studio pool (with adjustable depth), 25 metre main pool, leisure pool, 2 flumes, jacuzzi, a sauna and steam room as well as an adequately equipped gym.
They have also built a large retail park which now as an Argos, Boots, Hobby Craft and other retail outlets.
