I have friends that live in Batley so i tend to come here alot. Batley has a good night life, there is loads of bars, pubs and clubs. Each has a wide variety of music so theres something there to please you. There isnt much to do through the day, the centre isnt that big so there isnt many shops but there is good reliable transport links to take you to other places. You could hop on the bus and go to leeds if your wanting a day of shopping. Its not that far and the transport prices are fair. There is also good road links too.

Batley is north of dewsbury (if im right) located in west yorkshire. Batley is becoming more and more popular especially for the night life. There is a wide variety of music for everyone and you are guaranteed to have a fantastic night. As for through the day there isnt a big shopping centre and doesnt have many shops but there is good reliable public transport such as buses and trains. Leeds isnt that far away from batley so that would be a good place to go if you are wanting a day thats full of shopping and spending money - what every girl loves :) The people in Batley seem lovey and friendly, Your probably guaranteed to make new friends here

Batley is a lovely town with fantastic views of the West Yorkshire countryside. There are a lot of places to eat from something quick for when you are on the go to that takeaway after a few drinks at one of the many bars or clubs, to that nice sit down meal in one of many restraunts which includes Bella Italia,Exchange Barand Grill, Chiquito and last but not least Franki and Bennys. I mentioned the night life in Batley, there are some lovely pubs that you should o and visit whilst you are there like the Black Hourse Inn, Ledgens Bar, Jessops and Jardys. For shopping there is not reall that much here allthough it does depend on what you are looking for how ever Batley is world famous for the entertainment club Frountier. All in all its a top place.

Located in West Yorkshire, Batley is becoming more and more popular. There may be many reasons for this. I have only been to Batley a handful of times, but nevertheless i have yet to have had a bad experience in this lovely little town. The locals are all so friendly and i never hesistate walking into a pub not knowing anyone because making new friends is so easy. As already mentioned, The boulevard is probably the most popular place to be, i couldnt agree more, i think its a top night out, especially if your searching for some quality music and a selection of cheap drinks. There is a fantastic transport system, and the busy city of leeds is located very close by, if you want to do a spot of retail therapy.

Batley is a good sized town that has some great bars and pubs to choose from. The golden mile is very popular, and often many people can be seen in fancy dress parading down the streets, pub crawling having fun, its great to get involved. Boulevard to me is the most popular club, and they have a DJ that uses turntables, giving customers some of the much needed dance music many crave. There are a few clothing shops in the town centre to choose from, although if you want to do some serious shopping, Leeds isnt far away and is accessible via the train or a bus, and its also very cheap to do so. The main attraction in my eyes, is the Batley Art Gallery. Inside the art gallery there are many exibitions to browse at, which are forever changing in appearence and theme, the contemporary art is very popular, and their are many pieces of art work that have been created by various people across Britain. There are many primary schools, and a great grammar school. They also have a showcase cinema with numerous screens which is affordable for all. I think its perfect if you want to get out during the weekend.

Batley is a pleasent town, located north of Dewsbury. The town centre is popular with most, and is well known for its famous golden mile. The golden mile has numerous amounts of pubs, bars, clubs, restaurents and take aways than most other cities, meaning that people that live here or come here for a weekend break are spoilt for choice on what to do. This attracts so many people both during the week and at weekends, making it a viberant and lively environment which can be enjoyed by all. In artciular i like the frontier nightclub. It can hold more than two thousand people, and although it doesnt play dance anthems it does have alot of music from the 70's. But if your not into clubs then legends is a great alternative as they provide entertainment with a twist. They have karaoke nights, if you think you have what it takes or just want to make a fool out of yourself, and they also have live entertainment incuding very funny comedy acts, which will leave you in tears, and they also have singing acts and individuals, many of which may look familiar as they have appeared on tv. Personally i think everyone should experience the golden mile, as you wont ever be disappointed with the nights entertainment, whether you experience it with a couple of people of in a crowd of people.
