i tend to come to dewsbury quite often with my brother when i visit him in huddersfiels. I think its really unrated, there is plenty to do aswell as the big market ect, there is museums resturants and pubs. Everywhere i have been in dewsbury the staff in the shops and the locals have all been very friendly and welcoming. Everytime i have been to the market there has been items i could not resist buying at cheap bargain prices. Located close by is Bradford,Wakefield,Huddersfield and leeds. I reccomend going to dewsbury the night life is quite good aswell.

Dewsbury has a real nice hospital and many care homes, in which I used to work, and on finishing work at 8am, I used to love going to McDonalds opposite the bus station, and having a breakfast. The bus station, which was quite big and clean is quite close to all good amenities. Then afterwards I would go shopping and on Sundays, I would love to go shopping round the 2nd hand market. It is easily accessable by bus, train, and car. The main vetinary hospitals for local and surrounding areas are also in Dewsbury.

Im not a fan of dewsbury but thats because there isnt anything there that suits me. there is a shopping area with some high street shops and also a shopping retail park with a few more shops but not the shops i like. There is an open market and i must admit you can get some good things on there. Dewsbury isnt very clean and i also see loads of youths standing around on corners. There is good transport links such as bus, train and road links.

Dewsbury is a nice market town. I use to love coming here on market days and have a good rumage through people unwanted things -''one mans junk is another man treasure''. All in all the town is as clean as expected and the people here seem friendly. Theres plenty of shops for you to browse in also. Dewsbury had good links to leeds and bradford you could catch a bus or train and its not bad prices either. There is a museum which the younger children will enjoy, so if you are wanting a day out then why not visit here, a day of shopping for you and a walk round a museum for the children.

I think Dewsbury is a really under rated place. It is a market town. There is lots to do here for the person wanting to get away from there busy city lifes, it''s very close to Leeds, Bradford and Wakefeild, which are only a bus or train ride away. The bus station is really nice and well looked after. For the person who loves to av a rumage in market stalls Dewsbury has so so many treashures for you!! the market here is really good and the prices are good to. For the younger children you may want to take them to Dewsbury''s Museum, they will love it here looking at all the old toys that children who lived in Dewsbury would have played with many many years ago. All in all a good day trip out.

I use to come to Dewsbury every saturday with my Grandma. Its a wonderful market town. The market has many products and items to browse through, your guarenteed to find something that you''ll find useful or cant resist buying. One of the main attractions in this market town is the museum which is locaed in crow nest park. They have a childrens history section, which sports an extensive range of toys and other collections. They have many exhibitions which change frequently, so there is always something new to see everytime you visit. Leeds and Bradford are both located very close by, as are Huddersfield and Wakefield, if you ever fancy a change or want to experience living in a lively, hectic city. Dewsbury is also great for grabbing a bite to eat in one of the few restaurents, or even sitting in a quiet pub with a couple of friends, sharing a joke and a bit of banter.
