Hudderfield is a nice little town with many shops and food places and pubs, the town can get very busy on a night out, there is a good university there where I studied my nursing.

I loved huddersfield with all the great ships that they had available!

i have spent quite a bit of time in this town. During the day, Huddesfield is a viberant little town, with a weekly market day, which attracts tourists as well as the locals, there always something youll find yourself attracted too. The university is also a popular attraction with thousands coming here every year, to specialise in their chosen field of education. As you could imagine the nightlife is amazing. you are always garenteed and good night out.

I am a big fan of shopping so i visit many places as i like new surroundings. Huddersfield is has shopping centres such as Kingsgate and the Piazza, so theres plenty of shops to browse around. Theres also loads of nice little cafes and restaraunts. The people here seem friendly too. Huddersfield has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and night clubs. One of the venues, Tokyo, is located in the former Huddersfield County Court, which is a 19th century Grade II listed building that had also been used as a Squash club.
Hudersfield also holds plenty of cultral festivals such as Huddersfield Festival Of Light, Huddersfield Caribbean Carnival, The Pink Picnic etc. There is alot of things to do here and plenty of things to see.

Huddersfield is an ex factory and industry town. There are loads of interesting old factories and mills that are now listed so its interesting when your driving towards the centre. There is a large University that I applied for and so went to look at. They have a great music department and new students union which has loads to do and helps you settle in. The student halls for first years are up in the hills but theres a free bus. In the town centre theres a shopping centre which has all the usual high street brands and chains. Theres also a lot of coffee shops and places to eat. Theres a massive sainsburys opposite the University which is useful for the students on their way home. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are plenty of bus and train links to other major Northern towns such as Leeds and Manchester. Huddersfield has a lot of character to it if you like old buildings, and its got great access to the countryside for those who like town and country life.

I rather enjoyed my time in Huddersfield and still enjoy returning to the town centre. Its not the biggest centre in the world but it has everything a town centre needs, it has the Kingsgate shopping centre with all its high street shops aswell as numerous cafes bars and clubs. There is also the university in the town centre with its new music and arts building and the wilson building. Its clean and vibrant surrounded by all the scenery and greenery of the rest of huddersfield and its surrounding area.

Huddersfield is a great place for a night out with many bars and clubs catering for all tastes and music styles. The only downside is all those hills!

Huddersfield is so similar to bradford city. I''ve been there to do a a few job interviews. Huddersfield is easy to get to by train via leeds. From their bus station you can easily go to all of the cities in
West Yorkshire. Lots of motorways connecting it to all cities around it. It''s the same like bradford,a lot of rain and grey sky. Good variety of English and non English restaurants and the shops in the town centre shops. But in the evening you cannot find anything open. The houses are quite old. You can see alot of development and you could describe Huddersfield as mini leeds.

I like Huddersfiled, there is a real vibrant and colourfull place i think it''s because of the university. Which means of coure that the night life can and usally is lots of fun and very hectic. So if you like a right laugh and you dont mind the crowds then this is the place for you.
The other side of Huddersfiled is the more resurved side, there are countless listed buildings situated in the town center which ooze history. You can take long walks in the countyside which surrounds Huddersfield, the countyside is really really lovely and there are some nature trails you can go on, just check out the torist information for maps. They have a folk festival with folk dancing, poetry readings and real beer and ale tasteing!! not to be missed.
Huddersfiled also has a market on Saturday''s where many many treashures can be found. There is also great transport in and around so getting in and out to to other larger citys like Leeds is not really a problem.

Well, seeing as though one of my friends from univeristy lives in huddersfield, i have spent quite a bit of time in this town. During the day, Huddesfield is a viberant little town, with a weekly market day, which attracts tourists as well as the locals, there always something you''''ll find yourself attracted too. The university is also a popular attraction with thousands coming here every year, to specialise in their chosen field of education. As you could imagine the nightlife is amazing. There are a wide selection of bars and clubs to get tanked up in, and many students enjoy going out in fancy dress, which is always a laugh. If you like to shop, there is also a handful of independent shops as well as major highstreet store, jsut make sure you can make your student loan stretch.

I rather enjoy coming to Huddersfield. In my opinion is like a smaller Leeds. The architecture is mind blowing, and with a great history behind the town, you cant resist knowing more. I particularly enjot the nightlife, and often make a trip on the train for a night out with my friends. Everytime i make the trip there is always something going on in the town centre, making it a lively place to go. Huddersfield university is also very popular with thousands of students each year, it has a large range of facilities for potential young professionals. Due to the amount of students, this is what makes the nightlife so lively, with many dressing up in ridiculous costumes, its more than fun to join in. If you like shopping, Huddersfield is also ideal to shop for the latest must haves, with a range of shops to choose from, its difficult to resist spending money.
