Wibsey has brilliant transport links that are reliable. You have buses that take you to and from the town centre which is about 10 minutes away also in the town centre there is trains to take you to other destintations. If you are heading in the opposite direction it will take you towards halifax which also has a big city centre and good for a day of retail therapy. Wibsey just sits at the side of the Grattan stadium home to the Bradford Bulls and also facing the stadium there is Richard Dunns centre which has abig swimming pool with 2 slides, the cobra for the more daring and the zambeeze for the not so daring. It also has a courts which can be used for tennis, badminton, dancing, aerobics etc. Wibsey itself hasnt got that much to do, just has a few shops, hairdressers and chemists. It is a nice little place with friendly pubs and bars filled with friendly people.

Wibsey is a small town just outside the centre of Bradford. Its central location means you can get into Bradford in about 10minutes, perfect if you fancy a bit of retail therapy or a trip round the city. And on its other side is Queensbury, Halifax, Brighouse etcc great for walks and days out, especially if you go a little further a field to Howarth, one of my favourite places in the area. Having such a good location means that living in Wibsey is great because therees always something to do near-by. However, I have found that in Wibsey itself there isnnt always much going onn.
Wibsey is like any other town really, therees a post office, a co-op, a dentists and doctors, pubs and charity shops. The people are nice and there are enough shops to keep you busy for an afternoon but after that there isnnt all that much. However the Grattan stadium, home of Bradford Bulls is only a couple of minutes outside the centre of town and The Richard Dunn centre is right across the road so therees plenty to keep kids occupied in the holidays and itts great for rugby fans too!
Although Wibsey isnnt the most of exiting of places, itts surrounded by so much potential and places to visit. I think the fact that a place so near a city centre can remain pleasant is really nice to see and shows that not all inner city towns are rough. This is especially important in Bradford because they get so much bad press about rough areas around the city. I hope Wibsey continues and thrives as a town and remains a nice place for years to come.
