Amesbury is a very little town that is close to the famous Stone Henge it has loads of B&B i stayed in one when visiting my husband when he was posted here the B&B''s very much depends on the tourism it is a very pretty little town that has the very basics in it such as a little supermarkets a pet shop, chemist and a Chinese restaurant it does have a couple of pubs and a night club as also caters for the local army base that is in Larkhill it is the main training base for the royal artillery the soldiers venture into Amesbury as it cost so much to venture into Salisbury for a night out using taxis so Amesbury is the next best thing
Amesbury is a lovely little town. It is on the main A303 near stonehenge.
There is a co-op and lots of little shops such as a pet shop, a newsagents, there is a little cafe and various banks.
There are two big pubs at the bottom of the main street which both serve meals and have entertainment some nights in the week and weekends.
There is a cheesy nightclub in the town which is frequented alot by soldiers from nearby camps but all in all a fun night out.
