I''m from Trowbridge but now live in Devon.

There are lots of good shops, Boots, Dorothy Perkins, Early Learning Centre, Woolworths and W H Smiths to name a few big names! You will also find card and gift shops, clothes and shoe shops and a Museum, 2 shopping centers, The Shires being the bigger of the 2, an indoor market, which is open six days a week and above here is Castle Place Leisure Centre, which has a gym and sports facilities, you will also find Trowbridge Sports Center, (along Frome Road, in the grounds of Clarendon College) which has a great swimming pool along with trampoline lessons, tennis, squash, gymnastics, childrenns parties, badminton, basketball, netball or volleyball etc ...

In or around Trowbridge you will find a fair few supermarkets, Tesco, Asda, Aldis, Lidis and Marks and Spencers! You will also find nice places to eat and lots of pubs / bars.

There is a lovely canal and a few parks as well as the newly built skate ramp in Stallards Park.

Has taxi service, train station and bus stops to get you wherever you want to go.

You will also find many car parks all in walking distance to the town center and there is a big lending library and reference library.

Trowbride is a tired looking town, needs a big clear up and several shops nead painting etc to chear it up a bit. It has a good selection of shops in the shires and a few good places to eat. There is quite alot of grafiti around childrens parks. A lovely place to go is the canal, lovely for a bike ride with the family and a picnic. There are a few really nice areas but the main town, around the shires is dated and rough
