Evesham is a beautiful little village situated in the Cotwolds. It is well known for its fruit and vegetables and is a beautiful place in the Spring months when all of its fruit trees are in bloom. The river Avon flows right through Evesham and it is lovely to take a walk, boat down or just to sit on the banks and take in the beautiful views. Evesham also has its fair share of history including an intact Victorian bandstand in the park which still has live shows in the Summer on Sundays. A very relaxing way to spend an afternoon. There are several historic buildings that you can visit. I like Evesham just purely because of its quaintness and tranquility. A really nice place yo spend the weekend.
