i donyt live in hucknall bu have alot of friends in the area and visit them regulary.i usually get to hucknall by tram , but theres plenty of buses that go through there, the night life in hucknall is a bit boring , not alot to do besides go nd have a drink at the pub.there are some really nice parks in hucknall , plenty for the lil ones to do. huckall is one of the more rspected estates, coimpared to broxtowe, bulwell etc, although hucknall is very close to bulwell. the residents seem really nice and friendly.

Having lived in Hucknall and a regular visitor it is great small town to visit. Situated between Bulwell and Sutton it is a old Mining town which has tonnes of heritage. Being the home of Lord Byron many many years ago his name still lives on in the pubs and names of local shops such as the Byron Cinema and the Lord Byron Pub.
With it being such a small town some people wouldn''t think it had a night life but to the contrary, the main high street has 6 pubs along the drag all of which are very busy on a friday, saturday and Sunday night. All pubs are friendly and offer great drinks and food and at night host great DJ''s and bands.
If drinking isnt your thing then Spot on snooker club is a great place to relax and play some pool with friends. Quiet environment and friendly people.
There is plenty for children to get up to with a indoor soft play area and titchfield park to keep them busy.
To sum Hucknall up it is a great place to visit or live with everything situated on your door step.

I don''t live in Hucknall but spend a lot of time there. I live in a neighbouring town only a short tram ride away. Hucknall is a great place to go. It has a two storey Tesco (with really cool flat escalators that trolleys can go on!) right by the tram station. It also has a railway stop and a good bus service. There is something for everyone in Hucknall. There is a large Leisure center with fitness gym, squash courts, a swimming pool and more. Although read my review of the leisure center for my opinion on the service there!! There is a soft play center not too far away from the center, which I have also written a review for.
The nightlife in Hucknall is great, they have kareoke nights in numerous bars on different nights, TV screens for watching sports and a rock pub. The people all know each other so it is a really friendly atmosphere.

Hucknall also has a bit of historic value as it is the birthplace of Lord Byron!
