A very small town but is very beautiful with all the traditional and periodic looking buildings, beautiful landscaping and the traditional market right through the town centre. There are only a small selection of shops which are mainly specialist boutiques so can be rather pricey, but also has your essential shops such as a co-op, butchers, bakers and green grocers.
The road running through the centre of the town is the main through road from Doncaster to the motorways so the roads to get very busy especially around rush hour causing tailbacks, especially at the junctions. There are several large hotels, which are clean and reasonably priced making it a popular location for tourists and especially those with early morning flights from the new doncaster airport which is only a few minutes up the road.
