i travelled to leeds from newcastle for a friend''s birthday and not only was the journey down to leeds pleasant and exciting, even by bus but the city itself boasted a great night life. the bus journey took around 3 hours and the price was reasonabe at aound 20 pounds return. the city has a great astmosphere and many of the population are made up with students. the big student popolation mean there are many great deals on food and drink throughout the town. the shopping facilities are fantastic, the primar is the biggest branch of the store i''ve been to. and for the night life i greatly enjoyed revolution.

I moved to Leeds 3 years back because of my husbandds new job. At first I was home sick as IIm from Birmingham, but as time went on I got used to it. But I still regard Birmingham as a place to live because of its town center and other great entertainments around. However Leeds is good city because of its reviews on its night life and because of the fact that it hosts many musical, comedy events, and is home to one of the most summer festivals around, Leeds Festival. The Elland Road football satdium is also very famous(picture attached). One of the unique things that IIve seen are the Back to back houses in Leeds which to be honest are not very nice as they are small and are not very attractive.

leeds is a massive place to live and it is also well known to alot in the uk it is among one of the largest citys in the uk. It is home to three univercitys which brings alot of younger life to the city which possibly over 10000 students and workers making the city full of life.Leeds holds up to seven shopping centres which are all large so you have a lot to choose from and you are never short on choices. Also there is a lot of designer shops to choose from.
There are lots and lots of things you can do in leeds such as go sight seing at kershall abby or hare woodhouse which will keep you amused all day or even go to the art museams for the day and look at all of the art work it has to offer.
Leeds holds the royal armories which opend in 1996 and this is a good place to take young children to see all the armory and all the weapons and soweds you wil never fun out of things to look at and all the children will be amused.
Leeds has excelent night life and there are hundreds of bars to choose from and also night clubs. There are also alot of reastraunts and take aways which are all yummy and ideal on a night out.
All together rounding up leeds it is a good place to go on a night out and it is fairly cheep too so all them on a budget can still enjoy themselves.

i often go into leeds when visiting my brother, I LOVE it very large and plenty of places for shopping, lots of big brand name designer shops as well as cheap shops. the shopping centre is fab for a big grily sending spree. The nightlife is amazing!! Im currently planning my hen night in leedss!. Leeds also hosts lots of differnt comedy and musical festivals, aswell as one of the biggest summer festivals around (leeds festivle obv lol). I found with the centre its self really big and quite hard to get round on your own however locals and shop staff were very helfull and friendly and didnt mind pointing me in the right direction.

Leeds is a city in West Yorkshire, there are many inresting places to visit in Leeds. There are many places to go shopping from individual one-off boutiques to large department stores, which notably include Harvey Nichols and Louis Vuitton outlets, has greatly expanded the Leeds retail base. There are many students in Leeds who come to study here from across the country if not world so expectedly Leeds has a vibrant night life there are many pubs and clubs to enjoy within the city.

Leeds is a massive city, and has every shop you could want, and out on its own close to Morley there is the White Rose Shopping Centre. There is the light, that has a fabulous food court, I used to work opposite and would love to ring over to Nandos to order lunch and nip in to collect later, Also there are large in door and out door markets with a pet store in the indoor market that sells animals and the cutest kittens ever. There is also a meat market.

The bus stations have buses and coaches going all over the country and I particularly love the coastliner that goes from the top end of the bus station every 30 minutes or so and goes to York, Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby all for very cheap prices! :)

There is also Crown Point retail park, which you cant beat for a quick shopping spree on an evening!

I lived in Leeds a few years ago, both in the city centre and some of the surrounding suburbs, (I get bored easily and move often!) Leeds has absolutely everything you could want, good shopping, good nightlife, good cinemas, theatres, restaurants etc.
There is just about every high street store you could think of and also some of the more expensive stores for if you want the designer look! The indoor shopping areas are particularly good for with a wide range of stores inside.
I absolutely love Leeds market. You get all the usual market stalls outside, veggies, second hand goods, clothing etc and a really large sized indoor market with just about everything you''d want, from carrots to washing machines. The indoor food market is great, lots of bargains to be had towards the end of the day.
The nightlife is really good, with tons of bars and nightclubs, there''s somewhere for almost anyone to enjoy.
Some of the suburbs could do with a bit of work, I mean they had the basic little shops you need but the areas around the city are generally not that well looked after, I much preferred living in the city centre.

I have always really liked Leeds and think itts a fantastic city to go to for a day out and just for a general shopping trip, it is really superb for that! Living in Grimsby itts an easy place to get to and doesnnt take out too much time of the day getting there and back which is perfect when youure not a massive fan of travelling like me. The main reasons I have been to the city before is for shopping trips, visiting the Leeds Armouries and for going to the Ikea branch which is the nearest one to me. I have also travelled here by train before and that was an easy enough journey and not too bad a price either. The shops in Leeds are fantastic and there is a big variety of main high street stores and more independent type shops selling unusual items. The atmosphere in Leeds is also very trendy, fresh and exciting filled with lots of young people and so would appeal for good nights out too. I also liked the market here which is large and buzzing and makes for a different shopping experience in itself. Even better there is the White Rose Centre near Leeds, so you can even stop off there for some more retail therapy on your way home.
