London is England's Capital and is truely the heart of the country. London is a multicultural melting pot and it benefits from this with this diversity being reflected in its culture. London is a great place to live and work and even better to visit as a tourist. There is plenty to do from visiting the Tower of London to going on the London Eye. London is truely one of the world's leading capital cities and is always getting better. In 2012 London will host the Olympics and in the run up to then, there is a large amount of investment going into the city to make it even greater.

I went to london when i was a lot younger and we went on a school trip and i loved this, all the shops, and an evening at the london palladium. I loved this, and would definitely love to go back but it is so expensive, which puts me off as I would spend a fortune getting there and then would spend even more there, it is a lot more expensive than up north

London is a huge place with many cultures. I would like to talk more about Central London. Here there is every shop you could ever dream of! Harrods, Selfridges and even the more famous Primark!II would advise to go early as it can get very busy and congested. Wear a good pair of shoes cos your feet will ache all over! There are lots of transport means to get to London. The only thing to beware of is pick pockets and people trying to sell you back-of-the-lorry items on the streets!

A busy busy place! Full or culture and diversity, a real busy bustling city packed with energy. Fantastic for shopping and sightseeing, bear in mind its huge though- easy to get lost and you do have to keep an eye on your belongings. All in all a great day or short city break away

I have visited London on many occasions to visit friends and it really is the city of divercity and culture. I love all the sites and sounds of London there is trully something for everyone there! The shops are fantastic and there are some really classy shops as well as your everyday shops! If you don't hold on to your purse strings tightly you could end up spending a small fortune! There is some wonderful places to visit from the London eye to the London tower and many more things in between! The transport links in London are second to none, you have trains, buses, taxi and everything in between! When I go to London I purpusley go to visit my family, so we do many things together from bingo to shopping to dinning out in some of the wonderful restaraunts London has to visit.
There is a wide devercity of people in London, from all the corners of the world, and this helps to make London unique, the people are genually friendly, and most will stop to pass the time of day with you, but as with every large city London has its fair share of crime and trouble makers, I would say to you to hold onto your purse and belongings tightly and not let your wee ones out of your sight as that could lead to trouble! Other than that well worth visiting!

If you dont already know London is the capital of England.
It is a large city with some many things and sites to see.
London is a great place to do all your shopping. It has the most amazing shops and brilliant places to eat and drink.
As well as shopping you have got the brilliant new wembly staduim to visit if you are passing.
Museams galore here, i especially love madame tussards which is wax work models of famous people.
You also have the london eye which is a great thing to go on so you can see all the sites of london from a birdeye view. Brilliant place to visit and defiantly worth a trip there or a day out.

London being the capital of the UK you can expect it to be a very hectic place and it sure is! London is a world wide famous city for many reasons. There is everything you could imagine all cramed into this one world wide famous city! The roads are all extremley jam packed and its almost impossible travelling. There are soo many places to see and vist, so places to shop so much variety you are spoilt for choice. There are so many intresting places to keep you entertained, the london eye, the big ben, number 10, buckingham palace, london bridge its impossible to be bored. There are plenty of places to eat, you can have a different dish everyday! The downside to London is that there are many rough areas in its smaller towns and alot of crime.

I absolutely love London and just can''t get enough of the place! There is such a buzz and atmosphere in London that you can''t find anywhere else and it makes you really feel like your alive and that the blood is definitely pumping through your veins. There is just so much to do that it can be difficult to know what to do and when to do it. Of course you have to try all the usual things, Madame Tussauds, Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the London Eye. If your a lover of the theatre then you will be spoilt for choice with all the shows that are on at the West End, although my personal favourite is We Will Rock You. It is very easy to get around central London on the underground and a day travel card means you can get on and off all day which is so handy when you don''t have an actual plan and you just want to do everything in one go! Of course if you want to spend your time shopping, then there is a huge array of stores for you to choose from and if you can''t find what you want here, then you won''t find it anywhere! You have to be on your guard while in London and keeping an eye on your belongings and having any money or cards actually on your person is much better than leaving it in your bag, as pick pockets are rife and will pick on unsuspecting tourists who are too busy trying to sort out where they are going, to notice. If you have the chance to spend some time in London then don''t turn it down, because even though it may not be for everyone, its always a great experience.
